These heavy duty hot dipped galvanised steel frame kits are the perfect base for the 'Store More' apex roof steel sheds and metal storage sheds. Easy to assemble before you construct the metal shed, there is no need for a traditional concrete or slab base - just perfectly level ground.

After the metal shed is fully erected and secured to the steel foundation kit - flood out the interior with concrete for a smooth floor or cover with timber or moisture resistant chipboard. A strong plastic sheet should be placed below the entire area covered by the foundation kit to prevent rising damp.

For each metal shed we have available at extra cost a timber floor. The floor consists of boards and bearers - the metal storage building being sited subsequently on the completed floor and secured to through the holes of the metal sheds base rail. Timber boards and bearers are clear pressure impregnated treated.

Assemble timber floor and lay on level, well drained ground before assembling metal shed. Use timber pegs (not supplied) and drive into ground adjacent to floor bearers and securely nail to bearers.

(For concrete or flagstone bases) - OPTIONAL.
A ready to use, quick set impact fastener with high expansion. Fits through pre-drilled holes in the metal shed's base rail. Masonry bit (15/64") supplied with the Hammascrews. Simply fix by drilling hole and then hammering in the drive screw. Can be removed with a cross recess screwdriver.

Comprises of exact number of 3¼" wide vertical steel shed wall supports to allow for each wall panel joint to be overlapped internally from base rail to eaves. Only available for Standard & Extra High Gable metal sheds with 65" olive walls and both 62" walled (Ferndale) pent roofed metal sheds.
Not needed on the Eskdale metal buildings.
